Leslie Laud

Dr. Leslie Laud received her doctorate at Teachers College, Columbia University where she studied data-informed decision making, structured language instruction (Orton-Gillingham) and self-regulation theory. She has worked as a special educator, learning specialist then staff developer, focused on structured writing instruction. Dr. Laud taught graduate courses at Columbia University and Mass General Hospital, and is currently running an empirical research study on structured ways to teach sentence writing. She is the author of multiple journal articles.
