Right to Read Report: Learning to Read is a Human Right
In February 2022, the Ontario Human Rights Commission released its Right to Read report outlining that learning to read is a human right. A first step toward implementing the OHRC’s recommendations, educators are encouraged to use evidence-based reading intervention programs along with valid and reliable assessments.
