Right to Read Report: Learning to Read is a Human Right

Contact Us

In February 2022, the Ontario Human Rights Commission released its Right to Read report outlining that learning to read is a human right. A first step toward implementing the OHRC’s recommendations, educators are encouraged to use evidence-based reading intervention programs along with valid and reliable assessments.

Acadience® offers a complete suite of universal benchmark screening assessments and progress-monitoring solutions for reading preK–8 and math K–6. The Acadience suite of assessments feature quick, reliable, and valid measures for all students that indicate if they are on track for success. These solutions provide educators with assessment tools to support data-driven instructional decisions, monitor the effectiveness of instruction, and improve student outcomes.
