Strengthen your students' foundational reading skills with meaningful practice
Reading Rangers is an interactive, science of reading-based online practice solution for students in grades K–5. Highly engaging and comprehensive, Reading Rangers can be used by students of all levels to strengthen foundational literacy skills and improve vocabulary, fluency, automaticity, and comprehension. Reading Rangers complements any core reading program and supports students on their reading journey with meaningful practice.

A Reading Rangers Adventure
In Reading Rangers, students are motivated to practice their skills by exploring various environments and rescuing endangered animals. Throughout their reading adventure, students complete reading activities and are rewarded with fun opportunities to personalize their avatar, collect tokens, and play mini games. Characters like Mike, Li, and Dewey guide students on their journey as they face Buckleboot, a villain who hurts the environment. Students enjoy saving endangered species and taking them to the refuge while simultaneously strengthening their reading skills.

At Van Meter Community School in Iowa, teacher Tracy Ferguson long struggled to keep all her elementary students engaged and interested in reading outside of the assigned language arts curriculum.

I have often heard third grade described as the year students shift from learning to read to reading to learn. And while there is accuracy to that statement, I have found that third grade feels more like the year we juggle between supporting students who are still learning to read and engaging those who are reading to learn.

During this fun and lively webinar, you will follow the journey of second grade students at Van Meter Community School as they used an online practice program to improve their foundational reading skills and comprehension.
