Marilyn Sprick

For more than 40 years, Marilyn Sprick has focused her work on literacy for all students—first as a teacher, then as a consultant and lead author of the Read Well ® K–2 reading series, and now as the author of The Third Quest series—a family of interventions for fragile adolescent readers. During her work as an author, Sprick has continuously taught students and worked with teachers. She follows the science and then works out the pragmatic applications by engaging with students. When teaching, Sprick employs not only the science of reading but the principles of effective behavior support and social emotional learning.

In addition to developing literacy curricula, she also is a coauthor of a variety of behavior resources. Sprick currently serves as director and author with Ancora Publishing.
