This is the first of two webinars that will address the role of math problem solving in the intermediate and middle school grades. The overarching theme that guides these two webinars is, “How we connect mathematics to the future world of work, particularly in light of rapidly advancing automation and artificial intelligence?” This first webinar will concentrate on the learning theory that supports the importance of problem solving as a regular feature of classroom instruction (not as problems assigned as homework).
