It's practical use for daily communication, job-embedded application and entertainment has been entrenched in our modern existence leading educators to question the impact of technology integration on students, teachers and instruction. This interactive session will focus on the pros and cons of technology use in the educational world and its place in the ecosystem of the classroom. A reflection on contrasting technology practice and technology instruction as well as the benefits of blending technology with direct teacher instruction and its effect on student growth and achievement will be discussed.
