Open-tuition Institutes

Open-tuition Institutes are offered on a per-person tuition bases and are a great opportunity for smaller groups and individuals to receive LETRS training. The Institutes are presented by National LETRS Trainers and provide a forum for exchange of ideas and challenges from districts across the country while deepening the foundational knowledge of each participant. Initial Training and Trainer of Trainers (TOT) dates are scheduled throughout the year.

Certification of District Trainers – Training of Trainers (TOT)

LETRS TOT is designed for staff developers and reading coaches who provide high-quality professional development for their district/agency staff. Participation in initial training on the same module set facilitated by a national LETRS trainer is a prerequisite to attend a TOT session. Participants must meet additional qualification standards to be fully certified as a local LETRS trainer. For more information on the certification process download the certification standards document.
