Scott K. Baker, Ph.D.

Scott K. Baker, Ph.D., is the associate director of the Center on Teaching and Learning at the University of Oregon and the director of Pacific Institutes for Research in Eugene, Ore. Dr. Baker's interests focus on teaching and learning in literacy and mathematics as well as the educational needs of English learners. He is the principal investigator in a number of research grants to develop and test the effectiveness of instructional approaches and interventions in the early grades.
