Pati Montgomery, Ed.S.

Pati Montgomery, Ed.S., is the former executive director of the Office of Literacy for the state of
Colorado. She has taught students at all ability levels and in all grade levels, from kindergarten to high school, in both special education and general education. She has also served as a special education administrator, an elementary school principal, and a middle school principal. Ms. Montgomery taught in Denver Public Schools for five years and has worked for Jefferson County Public Schools in Golden, Colorado, for the past 20 years. Ms. Montgomery received a B.A. in elementary education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, an M.A. in special education from the University of Northern Colorado, and an Ed.S. certificate in school administration from the University of Denver.
